Mr. Scott Steketee worked with The Geometer’s Sketchpad since 1992 as a software developer, professional developer, and curriculum developer. He helped to design Web Sketchpad (WSP) and has been developing WSP-based curriculum from the very beginning of WSP. His current interests center on developing curriculum that leverages technology, embodied cognition, and concreteness fading to support students’ learning of function concepts and transformations. He is currently one of the Principal Investigators of an NSF project that is developing innovative technology-based lessons that make interesting and often surprising mathematical connections.
